Synchronicity

Synchronicity

By Elijah Bourque

Elijah Bourque is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Sculpture at Arizona State University. Interested in minimal forms and abstract perspectives, his recent work explores rounded, weighted shapes like this piece. Synchronicity was made using a 3D modeler which allowed him to map the sphere intersections for later fabrication using plasma cut and welded steel domes. The resulting structure delves into the concept of our own molecular composition and his interest in human connections.
